Why golf in La Quinta?

"Host City" for the PGA Tour's Career Builder Challenge (formerly the Humana Challenge and  the Bob Hope Classic), La Quinta has been called "the golf capital of the world" with a variety of spectacular courses open to the public. The City's SilverRock Resort - featuring the Arnold Palmer Classic Course - has won accolades as one of the top tour and municipal courses to play and was one of the host courses of the Bob Hope Classic 2008-2010.

The course offers 7,578 challenging yards of golf, sprawling over 200 acres with massive native bunkers and stunning water features set against the backdrop and natural beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The Clubhouse, situated in the rocky outcroppings, is a charming renovation of the former working-ranch hacienda, built by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ahmanson of Home Savings & Loan renown.
